  • The thing is, I'm trying to figure out how to do that. I've looked at the config paremeter list and it had nothing that worked. I also searched on here for any thing about it, and the only topic with someone else even mentioning it doesen't have an answer at all.

    I was wondering a few things about flans mod so I made this thread. If you know any answers to these questions, please reply here so everyone can see the answer if they try searching for it.

    I finally made the EVA helmet:

    Now, does anyone know how to give players status effects for wearing armours, or atleast how to make the player invisible under the armour? The helmet would be huge if I just scaled it up to cover the entire head.

  • Would the new system be able to work with guns too? For example, extremely customized reload, animations that happen when you use sights, etc? Also, could you make partially transperant things work? Like tinted glass for example, for a gun sight or a vehicle door. I have tried and it just made it either solid color or completely transparent.

    So a while ago TankHunterCobra made an amazing model of the scorpion for me. At the time it was perfect. I learned a lot about modelling from the techniques he used in that, like using decimals (sort of) for shapeboxes. But as everyone's models have been getting extremely detailed, and I've been playing a lot of Halo 2 Aniversary, I decided to make a few small edits:

  • To add on to vehicle seat capabilities, would it be possible to be able to shoot while in a passenger seat? Mabye there could be a config setting or something.

  • It should be, just look for the en_US.lang file in the mod and that should contain the shortnames of each item, sorta like the one in each flans mod content pack. I'm not sure it would give you back the empty fuel container, though.

    In toolbox, just build a bullet model, and then when you go to export as flansmod model, choose the one that says "As Flans Mod Model (Bullets, Grenades)". Next, go into the config of the bullet, and change the model from bullet to (contentpack shortname here).(whatever you named the model when you exported it), for example mw.StingerMissile. Then, to add a texture, just add this line:
    Texture (replace this part with the name of the texture)
    Then, go into skins and put that texture in there. I usually just make a small area like 32 x 32 and fill it in with a specific color

    I decided that instead of making the halo 5 variants of vehicles, I will just have different colored vehicles like in halo wars;
