Here is a step by step guide on how to make a model using the toolbox. It is really simple and it takes a few minutes of time. I'll describe everything as easy as posible. Before you start with using this tutorial, you have to make sure you have MCP installed correctly. You also have to make a model in Techne first. When I say something like: [your model name], you should replace this with the name of your model. Don't forget to remove the [].

[1] When your Techne model is finished, go to: File > Export as > Turbo Model Thingy

[2] Save the file as Model[your model name]. Spaces are not allowed in file names. This is the Java file you are going to use.

[3] To export your texture, go to: File > Export as > Texture Map. Give it any name you like.

[4] Open the Modelling Toolbox.

[5] Go to: Java Tools > Vehicle File creator

[6] Open your Java file and copy all the parts of the body, into the 'Vehicle File Creator' tab: Body.

[7] Do the same for the wheels in their designated tab.

[8] Give you model a name. This name has to be the same as the name of your Java file, but without the word 'Model'.

[9] Set the texture size to the size of the texture you use.

[10] Press 'Create Java Class'

[11] Delete everything INSIDE your Java file, and replace it with the output of the Toolbox.

Your java file is now done. Your model is almost finished. Let's start with the MCP stuff.

[12] Open MCP

[13] Go to: src > minecraft > co > uk > flansmods > client > model

[14] Copy your Java file into this folder

[15] look foor the file: mod_ModellingHelper. Open it.

[16] Look for the line: '//Register models here'

[17] Below that line, you see a line like this:

registerModel(new ModelSimpleCar(), "SimpleCarTexture");

Change 'ModelSimpleCar' to the name of your Java file. (including the word 'model')

[18] Change 'SimpleCarTexture' to the name of your texture file.

[19] Save

[20] Go back to your main MCP folder.

[21] Now, go to: bin > minecraft > skins

[22] Copy your skin file into this folder.

[23] Go back to your main MCP folder and press: 'Recompile'.

[24] When you are done with recompiling, you can test your model with the 'startclient'. You can spawn in your model with a modelviewer (looks like a flint)

[25] If you think your model is done, press: 'reobfuscate'

[26] When you are done with reobfuscating, your class file is located in: reobf > minecraft

Your model is now done. :)
